Who knows? He's a hard one to pin down, but that type always is -- I'm pretty sure they can both wrap a lotta people around their little finger without too much effort. There's a lot of suckers here, you know.

[That's not even entirely disparaging; to Xie Lian and A-Qing, that is. Sometime you are just two-faced enough to Win The Thing, and there is something to respect about that!!

Also, it's not as though he has much sympathy for Qi Rong, even if he isn't going to bother getting self-righteous about it.]

Plus, the kid's blind, she's got more skills and tricks up her sleeve having gotten this far. [she's a year younger and the same age as Ulrika, it's fine] Seems to me like he just enjoys lookin' the other way and she rewards him for it.

That said, she's almost opened the door into the local jellyfish, which means the door goes through some of Naito's bubble and splashes some water around. Oops. He waves his tentacles around, seemingly a little agitated, but moves away calmly enough... so it's probably not that big a deal.]
