the attempt at baraqiel's voice startles a laugh out of xie lian, and he tries to remember??? ]

They... oh. I remember. Their daemon was in the form of that large tiger, when I said it - and then, all of a sudden, it changed into the weasel form, and flopped over on the ground. I thought it was hurt, at first, but Baraqiel said it was fine, and that they liked the name.

[ san lang chitters in his lap, making a concerned noise. he was clearly very worried about this also. ]

since the town meeting, xie lian has been patrolling the city as much as possible, san lang in qilin form at his side, prowling unhappily with his nose to the ground as he sniffs, looking for any possible familiar scent.

at some point he runs into ulrika doing this, though, and smiles gently at her, giving a bow of his head in greeting. ] Hello, Miss Ulrika.
